Dr. Hertiz (ICU doc) said that they were going to start tube feedings very slowly. If the feeding doesn’t go anywhere then they will stop so no more stuff will get stuck in her stomach. She has good bowel sounds. The intensivist is happy with the last 24 hours. The surgeon said her stomach looks good, it is much softer. They have to get more fluid out before they can wean her off the ventilator.
3:00pm- Joey
HR 89-100, BP 106/63, PO2 93
10pm- Joey
HR 93-103, BP 128/75, PO2 94. She has been coughing which the nurse said is good because it will help to loosen the phlegm out of her lungs.
