Just talked to Dad and Aunt Robin, Mom peed in the wee hours of the night so her kidneys are working again! Yay! Still bowels not moving and other stuff not good, but it is something positive.
She also woke up briefly and was trying to tell Dad something but everything she was writing was scribbles. She is now back asleep. The OG tube has sucked a bunch of crap out of her stomach and Dad says it is not as distended as it was, so that is another good thing. It looks like the next 48 hours or so will really tell us what is going on, but I am feeling much better about it.
When we talked to the surgeon last night he was saying that he thought her kidneys were not working because she was not getting enough fluids. They slowed down on the fluids because she was having a hard time breathing. So now that they are pushing fluids again her kidneys seem to be working again. Her heartrate is still irregular and her blood pressure is still low. And they are still not sure where the infection is.
